DESCRIPTION

The product can play both voice and sentences. Voice refers to various sounds, such as human voices, music, or pre-recorded audio, while sentences are composed of voices, and you can set silence between two voices.

It supports to upload mono WAV files to the Voice MCU Workshop. After editing the voice sources, you can program them to the product or generate a programing file.

The HT68FV024 offers a 32Mbit Flash memory for storing voices, and the storable duration of voices depends on the compression format chosen. The better the audio quality, the more memory it will occupy, resulting in a shorter duration.
On the Voice MCU Workshop, you can select from the following compression formats: PCM, u-law, and ADPCM. Based on the MCU frequency and compression format, you have an additional selection for compressing the file at low, medium, or high qualities.

Voice MCU Workshop offers the below functions:

  1. Configure parameters of communication interface and speaker driver
  2. Upload / Delete / Replace voices

  6. Generate programming files

Operation modes switch

The product supports four operation modes: direct mode, 1-wire mode, 2-wire mode1, 2-wire mode2. You can adjust the operation modes using the three mode switches on the ESK-PVOC024-001.

⬥ It is important to remove the jumpers on the mode switch before programming.
⬥ The product needs to be powered off and then back on after changing the modes.
The functions of keys in direct mode
Key Function Description
KEY1 Stop/Replay/Reset Short press:
⬥ When no voice is playing: replay the previous one
⬥ When a voice is playing:stop playing
Long press: play the first voice.
KEY2 Next voice/sentence Short press: play the next voice
Long press: play the next sentence
KEY3 Volume +/- Short press: volume+
Long press: volume-

① Short press: The duration of a press is shorter than three seconds.
② Long press: the duration of a press is three seconds or longer.

Products compare

The ESK-PVOC024-001 and the ESK-PVOC022-001 (named ESK-PVOC02X-001 in the previous version) have the same functions. The only difference between them is the voice flash memory. The ESK-PVOC024-001 has 32Mbit flash, while the ESK-PVOC022-001 has a 16Mbit flash.
