The BMS56M605 is a gyroscope and accelerometer module developed by using an on-board gyroscope and accelerometer sensor, the MPU-6050, and read datas via I2C interface.
The MPU-6050 integrates two sensors, classic 3-axis accelerometer and gyroscope.
The accelerometer is used to determine down towards direction by measuring gravity, while the gyroscope can sense how fast the module is being twisted around.
The BMS56M605 provides three trigger conditions, free fall interrupt, zero motion interrupt and motion interrupt. You can select one of the trigger conditions based on your application and configure the trigger threshold and trigger duration of it.
The product breaks out the MPU-6050’s pins to match BMCOM connectors. With the BMCOM, you can directly connect the product to BMduino development boards, such as BM53A367A directly. You can use it with other development boards, such as Arduino UNO, as well.
