The BMAN5450DSA is a development board of Holtek 8-bit MCU BA45F5450. It is suitable for the application of smoke detectors. It includes temperature compensation function and has been calibrated at the factory.

Power supply: 9V power
If the development board has not been calibrated, the red LED turns on after power-up.
Otherwise, the red LED flashes once.
Calibration mode
The smoke detector calibrates according to the environment. This product has been calibrated at the factory.
(1) Short connect to the BD and GND pins on the board to enter this mode.
(2) In this mode, the red LED flashes once each second.
(3) If the calibration is successful, it enters normal mode. Otherwise, the red LED turns on.
Normal mode
The red LED flashes once every 40 seconds in this mode.
Alarm mode
When the development board has detected smoke, it enters alarm mode. The buzzer beeps three times and stops a second and keeps cycling.
Test mode
It simulates alarm mode one time when users press the test button. The buzzer beeps three times and the red LED flashes once in this mode.
Fault Detection
When the board detects self-faults every 40 seconds, the red LED flashes twice.
