The BCM-2102-X03 is a serial RF wireless transmitter module, the operating frequency is 433.92MHz. It comes with a serial communication interface, selectable to be UART or I2C. The external MCU board sends commands and data through the interface to the module to control the operation mode or transmit data. An Arduino example code and operation guide are provided to demonstrate how to control this module.
Compared to the parallel transmitter module (BCM-68F2123-X03 or BCM-68F2130-X03), this serial module is usually controlled by the external master MCU, able to send a bunch of commands or data. The parallel transmitter module has four pins, connected to four buttons to do four actions.
The communication protocol is proprietary, therefore the module must use with a corresponding serial receiver module (BM2302-64-2) to form a complete transmitter / receiver function.
To facilitate the use of this transmitter module, we make the RF wireless transmitter module evaluation board (BCE-GENTX-X01). After this module is plugged into the evaluation board, the KEY2 button on the evaluation board can be used to trigger signal transmission, same as to pull low pin 4 or pin 8 of the module.
