The BA45F5240 is a smoke detector MCU designed by Holtek. It includes the smoke detector AFE and dual-channel IR emission driving circuit. The smoke detector AFE is composed of two operational amplifiers, additional amplifying, and filtering circuits. The operational amplifier on/off control, amplification gain adjustment, AC/DC coupling switching, etc., can be controlled by an application.

The BA45F5240 also provides a multi-channel analog to digital converter, two comparators, three operational amplifiers, three D/A converters, and SPI, I²C, and UART interfaces. It is suitable for smoke detector and alarm application development. They also have the additional advantages of reduced power consumption and enhanced stability under smoke-free conditions.
