GETTING STARTED

 Required Materials

  1. Breakout board: BCT-67C741-001 (the BM67C741-1 module has been soldered on it)
  2. Development board: BCE-GENTrx0-001
  3. Programming tool: e-Link32 Pro
  4. Breakout board: BCT-67C741-001
  5. Programming software: e-Link32 Pro ICP Tool
  6. App: "BCBLEDemo" can be searched on Apple app store.

 Steps

  1. Connect the BM67C741-1 to the development board, BCE-GenTrx0-001, via a breakout.
  2. Use the e-Link32 Pro and software e-Link32 Pro ICP Tool to program the code to the BM67C741-1.
The code can be downloaded on the "Documents" label.
  3. The BCE-GenTrx0-001 supports four types of power sources. Select one of the power sources to power the board.
  4. Power Supply

    1. External power (VEXT): connect to external power which does not exceed 3.6V.
    2. Micro USB:
      (1) LDO33: connect to 3.3V power, and move the J2 jumper to USB.
      (2) VUSB: connect to 5V power.
    3. Batteries (BATT): put two 1.5V AA batteries in the holder.
    4. DC power (LDO33): connect the power to the DC jack which does not exceed 12V, and move the J2 jumper to DC JACK.

★ Select one of these power sources above, put a jumper on the corresponding pin header, and turn on the power switch.

  5. Download the App, BLEDemo, on your mobile and turn on the power of the development board.
  6. Enable the Bluetooth on your mobile and open the APP to pair with BM67C741-1.
  7. You can evaluate the module’s function if the pairing is successful.
